Fiè hay bath
A night in the hay would soothe the hay-makers’ physical pains. This fact led to the development of the original Fiè hay bath.
I use the power of nature and trust in the knowledge and experience of our ancestors. Hay baths are an old tradition in Fiè allo Sciliar in South Tyrol. At the beginning of the 20th century, the hay bath according to Dr. Josef Clara was considered a natural cure for rheumatism, hip and back pain, lumbago, muscle contraction, muscle cramps, neuritis, sciatica and more. The bacteria contained in the hay produce a fermentation process that increases the temperature. Heavy sweating and the essential ingredients of hay flowers have the healing effect.
